This wonderful, warm sweater will be a winner for me, since I've moved north and now have real winters to contend with. It's beautiful and goes with everything. 4 stars instead of 5 only because I am finding the alpaca a little bit scratchy. I plan to soften it by washing in a conditioner.

I am so torn. The design of this piece is so unique and cute, I own nothing like it and I adore it! I knew the material composition when purchasing but the feel and look of this sweater is so plasticky! It’s really awful, I’m so sad about it. I am a long-time Alembika buyer (I have yet to dislike an item purchased) but this sweater is a huge let down. I would have paid twice the price for better materials, more wool/cashmere etc. I feel like my skin will suffocate in this fabric mix. I’m so bummed as I moved away from purchasing knitwear in poly/acrylic over a decade ago. I’m still contemplating whether I should keep it or not. For the price, this material should be returned out of principle but the design is so adorable, so I’m still on the fence. I will also add that the sweater does not look as oversized on me as on the model; for reference I’m 5’5, 135 lbs slender, 34A, size US 4-6 and size 1 in Alembika and this has a normal fit, I’m definitely not swimming in it like the model. Anyway, the design is 10/10, they knocked it out of the park with this one— a shame that such a fundamental part of the item—the material—got skimped on.
