Empowering Change: Our Commitment to our Community

Fashion is always changing, and so is the conversation around sustainability. We know the industry faces challenges, from mass production and waste to the people and communities behind the clothes we wear. At Alembika, we don’t claim to be a fully sustainable brand. Instead, we focus on making more thoughtful choices, staying connected to the people we work with, and continually looking for ways to do better.

What matters to us

Limited quantities
We source premium fabrics in small batches and produce limited quantities of each style. This means fewer excesses and allows us to focus on quality rather than mass production. It also means that when a style sells out, we may not be able to make more.

People we know and trust
We work closely with smaller factories where we know the owners and the people making our clothes. We care about faire wages, respectful treatment and a supply chain we can actually understand and be connected to.

Our fabrics are sourced from Italy and Turkey, cut in-house in Israel, and produced with our partners in the West Bank. These relationships are an important part of who we are.

More thoughtful shipping
Our orders are shipped in POLLAST!C mailers made from recovered ocean-bound plastic. So far, this choice has helped divert 1,423 pounds of plastic pollution from reaching the oceans.

Better, Not Perfect

For us, sustainability is an ongoing process, not a claim that we've figured it all out.

We will continue to explore better materials, production methods and solutions, while staying true to the quality, creativity and relationships that define Alembika.

We know our people. We know where our clothes come from. And we care about what happens along the way.
