This dress will cover alot of bases. It's made of good, light but strong cotton denim and it's styled to be chich yet comfortable. I look forward to wearing it.
I love the style. It fits beautifully. I wish Alembika offered more discounts so I could buy more clothes from them. I find the clothes very expensive.
Alembika is a great company to work with on purchases, returns and exchanges. I bought this denim dress and another black dress. The fabric on both is light, comfortable and easy to wear and the styles are great. A friend referred me to Alembika and I am very happy to buy from them.
the blue denim dress and the black dress both have very poor stitching. I had to have all of the buttons on the blue denim dress resewn as they were coming loose. Also, many stray threads hanging from the stitching on the dress. Cost $25 at the tailor to repair.
The black denim dress is not quite as bad, but there are many threads hanging and some of the buttons need attention.
Very disappointing. I expect better quality at these prices.
This is my fourth Barbie dress, and I was happy to see it in black which is my favorite dress color (easiest to style for me). The contrast stitching stands out and complements the design elements to perfection. It fits just like the blue denim version- a tad smaller than the two all-cotton colors (navy and white). It has stretch though which adds to the comfort factor. The denim dresses are a heavier weight than the all-cotton, and I’m looking forward to wearing them with booties this fall. I ordered a size 6 as I did in the other three, and the fit is perfect. I’m 5’5” and weigh around 173.
