I am never more myself than when I wear this dress. It is so soft, so comfortable. I love that it is fitted on the top, but sways from the waist down. And the slight elasticity gives it a spring and a sense of life that suits my generally happy disposition. It just might be my favorite in my whole wardrobe of Alembikas!

This dress is perfect, the denim weight and stitching give it a good weight (light) and drape. The black is more flattering than the blue denim. Blue size 3 was a little long. Black denim was great, kept them both.

It's so comfortable, but it's cut in a way that you don't look like you're drowning in fabric. Black denim is something of a different look - we're so used to the blue - and I've found it carries jewelry well. Comes out of the washer looking great! It is one of the dresses I keep wearing right now!!!

After buying the Barbie dress in this fabric, I loved it so much that I decided to take a chance on the same great material but in a different style. I loved the sleeve length, the weight of the fabric, and the length of this dress. The only drawback ( for me anyway) is that the extra material on the sides does not always fall the same way. One side will balloon out as the other side lies closer against the body. Of course it all changes with movement. I like symmetry though and will try to smooth both sides to look similar. I’m keeping this one because it is so comfortable and stylish and will look great with booties this fall and winter. I got a size 5 which fits perfectly. I’m 5’5” and weigh around 173.
